I spent more than a decade as a senior marketing executive at OneDigital, one of the fastest-growing employee benefits, insurance, and financial services firms in the US. During that time, I led marketing through growth from $60M to $1B in revenue, supported the integration of hundreds of acquisitions, and built the go-to-market strategy for OneDigital's Financial Services division — including retirement and wealth management.

  • Designed a customer feedback process by instituting Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Customer Effort Score (CES) strategies.

  • Led a data visualization initiative to provide real-time reporting and feedback of NPS and CES scores.

In addition to her communications degree, Allison also holds a B.A. in theater and spent many seasons in summer stock and at regional theaters. One of her differentiators is how she uses the power of storytelling to inspire hearts and minds as a strategy to drive growth.

Pride of place is a compelling force in the name of her business.

North Woods Consulting refers to both the historic North Maine Woods of her home state and her family farm, carved out of a gorgeous parcel of pines on Maine's Midcoast. A portion of NWC's earnings will be dedicated to preservation of the Maine North Woods through the Natural Resources Council of Maine.

Yes, she's a hobby farmer. No, her hens can't generally be found on the kitchen island.

There are three horses, two mini donkeys, two barn cats, two dogs, 13 chickens and three ducks on the Painted Pony Farm. The farm gives Allison immeasurable joy (and her husband plenty of maintenance items on the honey-do list.)
